In the morning I lost to Andrius Petrauskas 4 dan of Lithuania. I tried to attack a group that I thought was heavy, but played a slow move and fell behind. There was an official recorder, so I should be able to get the record later – it may be on Pandanet.
Update: On the WAGC site, matches tab, the marked symbol means the game was recorded, and clicking the symbol leads to the .sgf file.

Contrary to my initial impression, I did not fall seriously behind until I lived passively with my centre group.
In the afternoon I beat Helcio Alexandre Pacheco 3 dan of Brazil. I got a huge lead, but let myself be ripped off – I lost about 15 of my stones and Helcio rescued a group of about 30 stones. In byoyomi and thinking he was ahead, Helcio declined to fight a ko for a corner group, and the eventual margin was 3.5 points with komi.
Helcio’s game is so flexible that I cannot remember it.
